Going to Africa

Location Mzuri Lodge

The Mto wa Mbu (Swahili for Mosquito River) is a village in Tanzania located north of Lake Manyara in the Rift Valley, in the Monduli district of the Arusha region. Now that the river has dried completely, there are 80% fewer mosquitoes in the village. Many tourists pass through this village as they set out from Arusha for the Ngorongoro crater. The cosy village with a real look and feel is definitely worth spending the night if you have been to Lake Manyara National Park for a day, or coming from Arusha
